Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the Dispo website, iPhone app, desktop app, Runner and servers (together, the “Service”) provided by Cognivex Labs LLC (“we”). By using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for it.

Dispo lets you use the AI coding tools already installed on your own computers, such as Claude Code and Codex, from an iPhone or desktop app: send messages, follow progress and approve commands. The tools run on your computers; our servers relay and sync messages between your devices and computers.

You need an account to use the Service. Please give accurate information, keep your password safe, and take responsibility for activity under your account. Contact us promptly if you think your account has been compromised. You must be at least 13 (14 in mainland China), or older if the law where you live requires it.

Dispo does not provide AI models. You install and sign in to tools such as Claude Code and Codex on your own computers, follow the terms of those tools and their providers, and pay any charges they incur. We are not responsible for their output, availability or billing.

AI coding tools read and write files and run commands on your computers, both when you approve them and when Auto mode lets them go ahead. You are responsible for those actions and their consequences. Review commands before approving them, keep backups, and do not use the Service where you cannot afford data loss or downtime.

Dispo’s approval rules are a safeguard, not a guarantee that every risky action will be stopped.

What you send and create through the Service, such as messages, session history and attachments, belongs to you. You allow us to store, transmit and display it only as needed to provide the Service.

When using the Service, you may not:

• Break the law or infringe the rights of others
• Access computers, accounts or systems you are not authorized to use
• Disrupt the Service, get around its limits, or reverse engineer the servers, except where the law expressly allows it
• Resell the Service or provide it to third parties
• Use the Service to spread malware or spam

The Service is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we will explain the price and terms beforehand, and it will be up to you whether to buy them.

You may run your own Dispo server. If you do, you are responsible for its operation, its security and the data on it.

We may add, change or discontinue parts of the Service. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms. You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@usedispo.ai.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the output of AI tools will be accurate or safe.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including lost data, damaged code or lost profits. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars.

Where the law where you live does not allow these limits, they apply only as far as that law permits.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Cognivex Labs LLC is organized. This does not take away any consumer rights that the law where you live gives you and that cannot be waived by agreement.

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we will let you know on the website or in the apps before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new terms.
